Established in 1992, the LAPUG community was founded by LAPUG President Phil Goodman as the world’s first Apple PowerBook (now MacBook) user group focusing on Apple and Mac OS related technologies. Since then, we’ve supported the Apple Newton, Palm OS devices and now the iPhone, iPod Touch & iPad.
Our free, regular monthly meetings are led by multi-Apple Certified Consultants and Apple Certified Trainers Phil Goodman and Vice-President Ben Levy as well as a bunch of other Apple experts. The meetings are a fun way for us to learn about current products and trends from our members as well as a way to share tips and tricks so everyone learns something.
Our membership of over 300 in the Los Angeles area continues our topics discussions online with our mailing list. It’s also how we announce our meetings and ask and answer questions about computers. Feel free to sign up for our mailing list.
